About the Department

The Department of Regional Development and Public Administration is part of the Faculty of Social and Economic Studies of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. The faculty is the only one at the university which provides education and research within the Ústí nad Labem region in the fields of economics and management, economic policy, public administration and social work.

The Department provides Bachelor’s and follow-up Master’s degree study programmes in Regional Development and Public Administration. Scientific activities are focused mainly on the development of regions and cities.
